2. Are you superstitious? Yes, when it comes to sports.  I used to follow the same routine before games when I played in college.

3. Who is your hero? My mom

8. Dog or cat?  Dog (Attached a photo of my dog, Moose, who is a 2 year old German Shephard.)

9. At what percent on your cell phone do you start to panic? 5%

10.Vacation in a cabin by a lake or an resort by the ocean? Resort by the ocean.

11. When and Why did you become a teacher? I got my certification last year but taught personal fitness and wellness at Judson University for 5 years. I wanted to help make an impact on young lives through teaching PE.

Mrs. Meade – please tell us about

1)your college basketball career- Played at Illinois State University for 4 years.  We won the Missouri Valley Conference Championship 2 years, played in the NCAA tournament against Oklahoma (lost by 6), and made it to the final four of the WNIT. It was some of the best years of my life.

2)preparations for soon to be newborn  - do you know if it is a boy or girl or do you want to wait? It is a boy.  His name will be Garrett after my husband.  He will be the 4th Garrett in the family.

3)please elaborate on your basketball program at RHS. In our first year, we went 8-17. We have improved every day which is the most important thing to me.  We had a very young team so the season helped us gain valuable experience for everyone.  It was a good start to my first year coaching and we are very excited to build off of it.

What is your favorite part of summer vacation? This summer it will be spending time with my son and getting back into shape!
